About Me

Am 66 years young, retired from the Air Force in 2003. Have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. My job since retirement has been grandchildren and quilting. My husband and I cruise usually once a year.

My Life as a Dancer

Started dancing when I was 13 through a unique ballroom opportunity for kids. Probably about the same time started ballet which was actually suggested because I had a scoliosis. Taught ballroom at one point for a Fred Astaire studio in Monterey, CA. Took ballet and jazz with my daughter and son when they were very young and I was not so young.

My Hopes and Dreams

My dream was always to be a professional dancer -- just a dream. It was really fun on a recent Royal Caribbean Cruise to participate in a Gotta Dance Team. This was the first time on Royal Caribbean. We usually travel with Celebrity. Haven't had the opportunity in many years to dance so it was special.
