TheatreWorks Silicon Valley is offering a massive display of magical realism in its holiday gift to its patrons, the musical “Tuck Everlasting,” with an astounding set that features an 18-foot tall tree that stretches almost all the way to the 20-foot ceiling at the Lucie Stern Theatre gamba dance shoes covent garden. “The tree is in front of the proscenium,” said designer Joe Ragey, who has been working with director Robert Kelley and TheatreWorks for 35 years. “It goes out over the audience.
