Dance Reality Shows??
I was watching TV the other night and stopped on a show called "So You Think You Can Cance." Those dancers are incredibly talented; I just couldn't turn the channel I know there are a lot of those programs on right now, for example, "Dancing With the Stars." I am wondering if others enjoy these shows as much as I do?

I love to watch the top 20 kids dance in SYTYCD... some of them are wonderfully talented and just need a chance to demonstrate it and being an amateur ballroom dancer myself, I know what skill and perseverance it takes to do the DWTS dances well!

I once stopped on a show called 'America's Next Dance Crew' or something of the sort. The dancers on that show were absolutely insane, they didn't even seem real.

in England we have Strickly Come Dancing , this is celebraties dancing in competition with each other they have a proffesional dancer to coach and dance with them .I will try and put a youtube up .If it works the guiy is the profesional and the girl is a singer out of Sclub 7.

What about the new show, 'Dance your Ass off.' I guess its like a combination of 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Biggest Loser.' It sounds like one of those shows that could be awesome, if there's actually some thought put into it... if being the key word there.

I'm not going to lie, I saw an ad for this in a magazine the other day and I wished I too could 'dance my ass off'! Do you know if they win prize money?

I wish I had more time to watch So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars - but I just don't. It is amazing to see the talent that some of these kids have. In High school I was on a co-ed dance team and we did some fun stuff - but I have been long out of being a trained dancer and seeing some of their moves makes me want to devote more time to regaining some of my former skills - nothing like what you see on TV by the way. The Dance Crew show on MTV is also an amazing spectacle of seeing groups get together and doing various routines. One time I saw this group do everything on roller skates - it was just jaw dropping.

I'm really happy to see all of the dance shows on tv, regardless of what type of dance. It finally shows people how hard it is to master dancing and gives young people a chance to see all kinds of dance and all kinds of people dancing. I think it's great!
