DVC Guitar Ensemble playing at library ballet shoes sequel. The Diablo Valley Guitar Ensemble will hold a free performance from 7 to 8 p.m. May 20, in the Community Hall, at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Diablo Blvd. The ensemble is one of the longest-running guitar ensembles in the Bay Area. Through nearly 20 acoustic guitars, the ensemble performs a variety of classical, jazz and world music. On June 1, the Diablo Fine Art Gallery will move from operation as a private gallery to a cooperative managed by the group that formerly ran the Lafayette Gallery for 17 years.
